I'm AJ Grove, a fashion stylist based in New York with a drive for creating visual narratives through clothing.

Originally from Lincoln, Nebraska, I moved to New York on my own and have built my portfolio through consistency and hard work. My editorial experience includes V Magazine, i-D Magazine, Icon Magazine, and Vogue Australia, and I’ve assisted and collaborated with industry professionals, including Patti Wilson, Anna Trevelyan, and Nicola Formichetti. I’ve also supported clients such as Karlie Kloss, Tyla, Julia Fox, SZA, Aubrey Plaza, Lil Yachty, and Cooper Koch. I have contributed to editorials, campaigns, and fashion stories across print and digital with a practical, detail-oriented approach and a strong editorial eye.

Currently managing client relations at The Box NYC, I've honed my ability to handle high-profile events, maintain professional communications, and navigate complex logistics with precision and discretion.

My styling philosophy blends structural precision with intuitive creativity. I gravitate toward silhouettes that communicate juxtaposing tough softness, incorporating high shine elements, and layering sheer textures over raw materials. While I respect the integrity of the garments, I'm ultimately focused on their transformation on the body and the story they help tell.
